Alexandre Leoni

Senior Concept Artist

Alexandre Leoni (@leoniarte) is one of Mooncolony’s Lead Artists, with over 15 years of artistry under his belt. During his career, Leoni has become a notable figure within Brazil’s creative community, well-known for his colorful stylized work. Leoni has extensive experience in card game illustration, working on franchises such as Hearthstone, Magic: The Gathering, KeyForge: Dark Tidings, and Lightseekers Awakening.

Ekaterina “Rin” Shapovalova

Associate Art Director

Rin has played a pivotal role in Mooncolony's evolution since becoming the studio’s first-ever full-time artist. With over a decade of art experience, she now leads Lunar Academy’s mentorship program aimed at nurturing the talents of budding artists.

Milica Čeliković

Senior Concept Artist

Milica Čeliković (@milicraft.psd) is a Senior Concept Artist at Mooncolony and a creature illustration specialist. Milica grew up surrounded by nature in rural Serbia, and has always been drawn to creating fantastical animals. Today, Milica has a significant online following under the name Milicraft, and is well-known for her whimsical creature art – particularly her dragons! Having worked on game franchises including Hearthstone, Keyforge, and Minion Masters, Milica is now dedicated to sharing her skills with aspiring artists.

Arthur Bozonnet

Art Director

Arthur is a French-born artist now living in Japan. His calling was found in the world of art, where he spent years as an illustrator for Activision Blizzard’s Hearthstone. In November 2023, Arthur joined the Mooncolony team as an Art Director. When he's not creating beautiful pieces of art, he leads concept art mentorships for Lunar Academy.

Alex Pascenko

Art Director

Before he touched down at Mooncolony as an Art Director, Alex Pascenko (@alexpascenko) already had over a decade of professional character design experience. Eight of those years were spent in the collectibles industry, creating concept art for the likes of Star Wars, Street Fighter and Spider-Man. Here at Mooncolony, Alex has brought his talents to iconic game universes, including Fortnite, Diablo IV and Legendary: Game of Heroes. A true master of his craft, Alex is well-known for making character designs full of soul and personality. He is based in Berlin and speaks English, German and Russian.

Emrah Elmasli

Founder and Creative Director

Emrah discovered concept art back in 2001 while he was flipping through the pages of a Heavy Metal magazine. As he looked more into concept art online, he discovered the conceptart.org forums, where like-minded artists helped each other to develop and hone their skills. He instantly fell in love with teaching his craft to others.

Alex Alexandrov

Lead Artist

Alex Alexandrov is an artist from Bulgaria. At the young age of 17 Alex got his first art studio job. Fast forward 16 years from that pivotal moment Alex has never looked back. He has worked for various clients around the world, from Japan to the USA, for clients including Sony, Blizzard, Disney, Paizo and Wyrd Miniatures before settling at Mooncolony. His top projects as lead artist have been cinematics for Diablo IV, World of Warcraft and Hearthstone.
